Mark Martin and Jeff Burton are seasoned Veterans at the Coca Cola 600. It is a long race but you will have a great time if it is not too hot. I have been before and it was miserable because of the heat. Jimmie Johnson will have a great car there come Memorial Day Weekend so he might be a play too. Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart should be in the mix also. The Highway Patrol does a great job getting people in and out around the speedway, but traffic can still be a nightmare where it botttlenecks, The earlier you can get there, the better off you are. I always leave with twenty laps left to go and listen to the end on the radio to get out before the mass exit of fans who are by this time extremely drunk and should not be driving in the first place.
I don't think anyone really could be considered better than anyone else as far as longer races is concerned. The teams just set the car up different for the extra 100 miles. Put 43 drivers names into a hat. Charge $5 a pull at your tailgate in the parking lot of the racetrack. You have over a $200 pot. The winning pull wins the loot.
